Girl Number One by Jane Holland
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I was in the mood for a good solid thriller and Girl Number One did not disappoint! Ellie finds a body in the woods, but when the police go to look for it… there’s nothing there!
Ellie is fighting to remember the identity of her mother’s killer (she saw him when she was six, but has suppressed the memory so thoroughly, that not even hypnosis will bring it back out!) and she’s not entirely sure she’s not going mad. All the while she’s trying to hang on to her sanity and figure out what’s going on, the killer is getting ever closer…
I really enjoyed it.
